Day 1:             Floor joists and sub flooring

April 18        Framing of exterior walls

                        Sheeting on exterior walls

                        Lunch by: Liberty CP

                        Devotional by: Liberty CP

                        Work Groups: WCSHS Football & WCSHS Key Club

 

Day 2:             Set trusses and build truss ends

April 25       Install decking on roof

                        Frame interior walls

                        Wrap house

                        Put facia boards on rafters

                        Set bath tubs

                        Lunch by: Covenant Fellowship

                        Devotional by: Covenant Fellowship

                        Work Groups: Covenant Fellowship & WCSHS JR ROTC

 

Day 3:             Start roofing (this may need to be continued on the following weekend)

May 2          Install windows and doors - Breakfast and Noon Rotary Clubs

                        Start hanging vinyl siding

                        Lay water & septic lines (if not already done)

                        Plumbing rough-in

                        Electrical Rough-in

                        Lunch by: Pearls of Christ & Central Baptist Association

Day 4: May 9 No work! Mother’s Day weekend.  No work unless needed due to rain.  

 

Day 5:             Finish roofing                                      

May 16         Continue hanging vinyl siding                

                        Plumbing pressure check – verified pressure leak free before sheetrock installed

Electrical Rough-in

Electrical inspection: When inspection passes, ceilings and walls will be insulated professionally.

 Sheet rock hung and finished after insulation installed – between May 20 - May 30?

Day 6:  May 23 No work! Memorial Weekend. No work unless needed due to rain.         

Day 7:             Paint interior walls                              

May 30          Lay plastic under house

                        Build front porch railing and set porch posts

Paint trim prior to installing

                        Catch up on any unfinished items to this point

                        Lunch by: 1st United Methodist; Christ United Methodist & Morrison/Bascom Un Meth

Install vinyl flooring and install kitchen and bathroom cabinets between May 30 & June 6.    

Day 8a:           Touchup paint interior walls

June 6            Hang doors and start installing baseboards

                        Paint doors prior to re-hanging

Build side porch and finish front porch

Day 8b:           Finish installing baseboards

June 7            Caulk baseboards

Finish side porch and front porch

Day 9 Set fixtures

June 13            Finish caulk around baseboards

                        Touch up paint on trim

Day 10:           Install closet rods and shelves

June 20            Set appliances

                        Install towel bars

                        Work Groups: First National Bank; Bates Hill Cum Pres & Master Gardeners

Landscaping can be done June 20 or June 27.  This includes grass seed and foundation planting.

Day 11:           Finish plumbing and electrical (hang lights and install plumbing fixtures)

June 27          Install wall plugs, phone jacks and light switches

                        Start work on punch list

Day 12: July 4 No work! July 4 weekend.  No work unless needed due to rain.  

Day 13:         Complete items on punch list

July 11          Hang blinds

                      Touch-up paint

Day 14:          Hang storm doors

July 18           Clean up house

                       Wash windows

                       Pick up yard and anything else that has not been completed

Dedication will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2009

 NOTE: Rain out days will be made up on following weekends – dedication could be pushed out past Aug 1

Dedication will not occur until home has been completed and completion check list signed off by homeowner
